Default 3 new Phals :o).......

HHhhhmmmmm so much for me not getting any more

Here are a few more I recently got:

Phal I-Lan Green Pixie - not in flower at mo, leaves looking good. Repotted it when I got it:

Dtps Sogo Vivien Golden Vivien - love the variagated leaves. This is teeny tiny, came in a plug of moss so i instantly re-potted in bark. It had a good couple of nice healthy looking long-ish roots

Dtps Jim x Phal Golden Peoker Black Bird - this is particularly lovely. I kid you not the spike is in excesses of 2 foot!! when the sun shines through the flowers they are really bright purple. I really like this one, glad i bought it.

Beautiful, healthy plants. I would not have the willpower to pass these up. The flowers on your flowering Phal. are lovely.

They are all lovely. I have told myself I am not going to buy any more orchids until my housing situation gets ironed out. So NATURALLY I see a ton of orchids I want. When you want them you cant find them, and when your not looking they ooze out of the woodwork. So buy them when you see them :P

Thanks all

I had to a quick emergency surgery on the Dtps Jim x Golden Peoker Black Bird.
When I got it I re-potted with fresh bark, but for some reason I hadn't noticed one of the roots was not so good.
So to my horror I checked the pot to look at the roots yesterday and noticed one root was starting to go mouldy So straight to ER it went to de-pot, de-root the manky one and back in its pot again with more fresh bark. phew.... all ok now its now in ICU recovering!!

xx
