Awesome!!! I can see why you got an award! Great Job Not-Bob!! I love the markings on that flower, and the color is great! So crisp and bright.

Thanks! Believe it or not, this one is still holding that same bloom! It's really odd. I tried pollinating it a while back but the stigmatic cavity never closed over, but instead of fading, it took on a slightly greenish color. It's weird because if this was truly pollinated the flower would turn green and the ovary would swell, in this case the flower has super thick substance with a greenish cast to it, but the ovary is not swelled and the stigmatic cavity is not closed.

Thats a good long lifespan for a flower. How long has it been since you pollinated? What did you pollinate it with?

It has been over a month since I attempted pollination. I put pollen from violacea v. alba x brneensis v alba which was also blooming at the time.
