This was the only specimen with the lighter stripes in the offering. The other ones were much darker with bigger streaks so I thought that perhaps they are all the same cultivar but growing conditions may make the flowers look different, just like my
mini-harlequin that has looked quite different each time it has bloomed.
Your description of the platter shape made me realize that yes, indeed, without the streaking, the blooms would be very similar in shape to those you suggested, which is alright with me because it is my favorite shape of phals.
