It had a tag, but all I can remember of the name is that the first part was Tzeng or something very like that. It looked like someone took one of the big round white platter phals like Sogo Yukidan, dipped a large coarse brush in some very dark purple paint (the color of the markings on harlequin phals), and ran it across the flower, leaving horizontal streaks much heavier on one side than the other- which side varied. 'Mine' didn't have the faint pink spotting it looks like this one has, and the streaking was a little heavier and darker.
This was the only specimen with the lighter stripes in the offering. The other ones were much darker with bigger streaks so I thought that perhaps they are all the same cultivar but growing conditions may make the flowers look different, just like my mini-harlequin that has looked quite different each time it has bloomed.

Your description of the platter shape made me realize that yes, indeed, without the streaking, the blooms would be very similar in shape to those you suggested, which is alright with me because it is my favorite shape of phals.
