I thought my HD bought NOID was crazy but look at that spike!
I kind of like how it is evenly "crooked". lol
I guess you have to just keep doing what you have been doing to keep the spike as straight up as possible. I know about saving growing space.
I wish I had greenhouse, especially for phals so they will grow their spike straight up without much struggle.

My twisty stem phal has finally bloomed and yes, the stem was being restrained by those plastic hair clips. I did find a support that did a good job, although it's still heavy enough to bend over the plastic support.

My Baldans Kaleidescope is sending out its strong stems now and I'm using the rubber coated twisties so I can make them as big as they need be.

(Heh, I've already forgotten how to post an image so it shows in the post, sorry. I've been out of commission due to a rootkit virus!) :blushing:

This is my Home Depot cheapy. It was a forelorn plant that I picked up for $5 after asking the clerk for a discount.

It's a quiet and welcome change from all my loud, splashy noIDs I've been buying.

Nice clean color and shape!!! :)

I have one just like that. Large flowers on a petite plant, so I keep it. ;)
