Default Happy phal story for Friday

Since it is Friday, I thought I will post a 'feel good' story .
In July I posted a thread on my sick phal.
Phalaenopsis Root Rot!

I totally lost hope, chopped off all the bad roots, repotted it (in commercial orchid mix) and left it in a corner of my growing room ( aka- my study room).
It was then transferred it to s/h in Sept (spring).
This is what it looks like today!

The roots are growing like crazy, there is one new leaf coming with one old one dropping off.

I couldn't have done this without the OB.
You guys are great!
Thank you!
Buds!

Thanks Becca, I am happy just to see new roots and leaves.
Does that mean I am an official orchid 'addict'?

YAYYYY!!! How wonderful! It seems to be doing very well!!! Pot it up an let it develop, I CAN'T WAIT to see the blooms it will surely produce! You'll be an official orchid addict when you buy an orchid (or two!) with every paycheck... just ask my boyfriend, we're LITERALLY overrun with orchids! (and delightfully so!)

PS- I'll still keep buying them, even if he yells at me for doing so! ORCHIDS ROCK!!!!!!!!!!

Oh thanks Gloria, I need to boost my wallet!
I have 30 phals now... I am sure that the phal population in 2008 will explode in my house ... and I am looking forward to it!

I agree "orchids rock!", they bring so much peace, hope and happiness.
Plus they don't talk back!
As you can see, I am definitely orchid crazy. Hehehe!
