Beautiful Phal. Don't you love it when you find a "deal/steal".

To be honest, it's such a special looking hybrid, and not one of those run-of-the-mill ones that are all looking similar to each other, that I'm wondering if you can't say it is a Dream Glory... I think I might have done so if it was mine. Maybe. But told any potential buyer (I don't know why you would ever want to sell it, but hypothetically anyway) that it didn't come with a tag...

Just a thought.

Sorry to disagree but ive seen quite a few like this in the mass market (supermarkets etc.) and wouldn't want to put a name to it

It's not just selling it, it's posting online photos with a name.

However what I DO do, is put a name in my records with a NoID marker as well. When I post I say it's NoID or that it a look alike of xyz. At home where no-one else cares I use the name of what I think it might be. I just don't like any of mine to feel left out on the name front, so even the total NoIDs get some sort of name

Gorgeous flower. Its a harlequin alright....the tie dyed look is amazing. It is well grown and the florist must have been very generous with the moss....when this orchid arrived it had its name on the box or at least a number from the catalogues and its name....but of course the florists won't bother to write a tag; they just need to make an arrangement and sell....Taiwan growers are very proud of their hybrids.
