Another UFO follwed me home today!

Another UFO followed me home today, so now 25 in total. “Yes” I know I’m beyond all help but am I really totally to blame? I mean, there I was in the supermarket minding my own business getting the groceries as usual and then……the UFO (Unidentified Flowering Orchid) isle.
You see, these harbingers are not at all demure standing there on guard in bright pretense on the shelves, silken heads outrageously flirting with me by flaunting such richer hues. So, yet again I was kidnapped, enthralled, besotted, captivated and there was nothing to intervene between what I was witnessing and me, absolutely nothing at all to vex the soul.
Briefly on summing up I don’t think I have a problem, nor do other collectors. If UFO, s stare into our heads with something more powerful than vision it’s the UFO, s to blame. So unless you think this is a fantasy I’m weaving don’t feel guilty folks!

I know. I suspect we all do. I've been like Scrat in Ice Age and it was a shock yesterday, to walk past the UFOs and actually, for the first time, manage to avoid buying any.

Such self-control Silje, hopefully I’ll get there one day myself.
Meanwhile, if they’d just stop winking and blinking at me in store, I’d be fine – shouldn’t be allowed!!!

Know the feeling. But I as well was able to keep myself from get any the last time I was at the groc store.

It wasn't easy there was a mimi phal dark purple that was teasing me allot. I went Lalalalalalalal with my fingers in my ears.

Sometimes the grocery stores make it easy...even if I do go take a closer look at an orchid screaming my name I can see overall neglect in the roots. It's rare to find an orchid that is well taken care of...but then I can refrain from purchasing any :-P

I bought a phal this weekend from Lowes! How could I resist? They put it in the clearance rack! It is tagged, has great roots and leaves and was only $3!!!

Fortunately (?), my local grocery store's orchids are pathetic and overpriced. Trader Joe's on the other hand...... and fortunately, I only go there occasionally since it isn't nearby

I go to TJ's more often than regular grocery stores and I have three near enough or near another destination.
