Hmm... I don't know, sorry. I do know that some Phals (non-waxy blooms) have remarkably long lasting blooms already. Hopefully someone else can answer.

Not having any waxy flowers, I can not compare to my noid phals however many phals are in bloom year round.

My waxy noid does last a long time compared to other noid phals. However my longest lasting at 6+ months for the same flowers, is not a waxy one.
