Phal Hybrid NOID mount
I had a Phal NOID that was in moss and I decided to experiment and put it onto a clay saucer with little bit of moss and hang it up. Has anyone successfully mounted their phals onto treefern, cork, or clay or anything to mount on?

I've not done phals, but I know others have. There have been plenty of pics of phal mounts on OB over the years.

I know we have had members with mounted Phals, and I remember someone posting a pic once of an orchid s/he had mounted on a clay saucer - tho I don't remember what type of orchid that was ...
Post a pic of your creation, if you like / are able to. I know many of us like seeing the creative things people come up with for growing their orchids!

I know I've seen the same, and can't recall it either, at the moment.... Sorry
But, I would also love to see a pic of your creation!

Well I wish I can post a picture but don't know how to do so. Phal was recently mounted but it has one bud staying on but two flowers are wilting from the abuse trying to be mounted and I broke the saucer at the first try but decided to use wire on the second attempt and it was even more easier and faster than string and it held it pretty well onto the mount. Can anyone teach me how to post pictures?

If you look up at Rosie's post, at the bottom of her post is a link "Tips for Posting Photos" click on that, it will help
