Looks like it has a great round shape. Nice vibrant color.
I wish Peter Lin and Big Leaf Orchids would come and hurt my wallet here in Canada!

Thank you DaveW. I was just at Toronto this weekend, speaking to SOOS and their Judging Center. I stayed with my friends Eric and Ellen Lee at Crystal Star Orchids. They have many orchids in their greenhouse. You can find them on Facebook. In time they will update available list via Facebook and their website. I love Canada. Beautiful clean places.

Well it's been a week or so and my little ones seem very happy. Maybe they are just happy to not have any competition for water and fertilizer and be in a pot all their own. The main plant was in full bloom and never even looked like it might drop any flowers after I repotted. It's still very fragrant from about 10am to 4pm. More so when the sun is shining and it's warm out. This is such a neat little hybrid.

To me it smells like roses. It's not a room filler to be sure. You have to stick you nose right in it to get the fragrance.

I double checked mine and it doesn't smell. BUT, my Liu's Berry does have the same light floral fragrance. Weird!

Fragrance would come from species Phal lobbii and/or Phal equestris. My experience with either species is that you don't always smell their fragrance. I sold a Phal equestris that during the packaging - it smelled great. But my customer who got it has yet to detect its fragrance. It is very subjective and depends on time of the day.

And how good your nose is. My Dad could not detect the fragrance at all. Mom and I both can.
