This hybrid Phal Liu's Berry has Phal (Doritis) pulcherrima in the background. Thus it will produce basal keiki freely.

Nope, different hybrid. Liu's Berry is light pink with a dark pink lip.
Peter they weren't basal Keikis. There were two very small separate plants in with the main plant.

Ah. My mistake. Phal Liu's Cute Angel also has Phal (Doritis) pulcherrima influence. The success of this hybrid is to use desirable traits of pulcherrima's upright spike and multiple flowering
