Hi Katrina, if you are referring to me, yes, mine came with a label but it came from a Phalaenopsis vendor, instead of where everyone else got theirs. I would forego a named label if I could find one here in Fort Wayne for less than $10.00!!

How did you ID it? Did you call the company? I have a very similar one from Trader Joe's, but I figured de-NoIDing it would be hopeless....

No, sorry...I was directing that toward Bob. It "sounded" like he found a label in that particular plant. Whereas, one usually doesn't find a label in these types of phals, maybe? At least that's the way I read it. ???

I got the name through a series of educated guesses. I know that all just add ice orchids are clones, in fact a lot of them can be ID'd by someone who's very connected to the phalaenosis breeding world. This one is so unique and the pattern of variegation is so stable that between knowing this is a clone, seeing others exactly like this with correct ideas, including seeing some at the greenhouse I work at correctly ID'd as this, I can make a sound educated guess.

I'm not sure. I THINK I smell a light floral fragrance when I check it in the mornings, but then when I check again later in the day, nothing. It has to be right when the sun is shining on the blooms.

When mine was in bloom earlier in Spring, it produced a very faint but pleasant scent, as Random said, when the sun warmed its growth space in the morning.

How long did everybody's flowers last?
I've had mine since September. I purchased it in bloom and it's still in bloom. I had one bud blast on me, but the others are still there.
