Unfortunately, the last buds on the spike bloomed with color break and deformities. It arrived in spike a few weeks prior to blooming. It is virused. Now I need to find one from another vendor .

Perhaps the deformed bud/s were physical damage. The color break....is it really virus induced color break? I have had cats show color irregularities which were not virus.
Is this the first flowering for the plant? Be on the safe side - segregate and evaluate with the second flowering.
