These first two are the phals I managed to rebloom that convinced me that maybe I could keep phals. I have a third that was purchased around the same time that is struggling, but I decided that two out of three ain't bad. Hope my photo links work. And, what is a "trackback?" I see that as an option at the bottom of the post.

NOID yellow

And here's the little cutie I just picked up at TJ's for $6. Absolutely love it! Came with GREAT roots, which I hope will adjust to S/H without too much suffering.

NOID orange

Happy spring!

Ok. Sort of got the photo thing figured out.

They're all very pretty! Congratulations on the new blooms. I have a phal that looks a lot like that third one. I agree with you, I love phals with that orange color.

Love them all! The orange on is a cutie for sure!

If I can make a suggestion - I'd take the orange one out of the glass container and put it in some clear plastic with lots of air around the roots. If you don't have any special orchid pots, even a mayo container with some drilled holes would do.
The roots look great, I think it has all the potential!

Cheers,
Lilia

Thanks, all. And thanks for the suggestion, but I thought Ray advocates fewer rather than more holes in containers for S/H to maintain the upward wicking through the LECA.

I think Lilia is referring to standard potting rather than S/H.
