Default Some novelty phals

I don't know if these are considered novelties or not but I don't consider them standard phals because of their different groth habit and thick, waxy petals. Anyway, Quay was asking me about my Phal Ember (Lou, I still plan on harvesting pollen for you!). And I wanted to show and tell. So here it is along with a Chrisna.

It has this brilliant coloration on the leaves if grown on the upper limit of light.

Not sure of he capacity of this pot but its maybe two gallons or so... It's big. Such a pain to water if I have to carry, which is most of the time!

So the color isn't right. It's less purple and more pink in real life and looks so much better. When time permits ill get a back lit shot so you can see the hundred of dots on the petals.

This hybrid smells sweet like honeysuckle, especially at just before mid day.

Shot of the roots I've gotten before on this plant in sh. I rarely ever have dead roots on this thing. It's a strong but slow grower.

My Chrisna. One of my favorites but was badly damaged in the mite attack this past winter. She's better now but that was rough.
