Smile Phals in waiting

Got phals budding finally. Most of these are Big Leaf stock. I like to get the last one he has. He saves the best ones for last

they are...
phal violacea, phal Equalacea, phal sogo vivien x javonica, phal cornu-cervi and phal stuartiana.

The stuartiania is going to open a few flowers this week. The rest of them well.......months maybe

notice how fine them green roots look in that sphagnum? everyone seems to dislike the moss. you must learn to deal with sphagnum moss and phals. do not water them until the moss is dry and having clear pots lets you see whats going on in there. I took them out of the RJars so you can see.

thanks you ..Im havin fun again I think

you get to feel like you've crossed a threshold being successful with the phals after a few years of killing them.

Ive been growing the phals 1 year longer than I been killing them
