Default Phal. Pink Panther

This is my favorite, and best performing Phal, hands down. In the 5 years I've owned her, she's been pretty much in non stop bloom. Spikes keep expanding to produce more buds, and once those are done there are 1-2 new spikes that immediately start growing. It's a happy Phal, so I left the keikis on, which are now blooming as well. The spikes are not particularily floriferous (4-5 blooms max), but the thick waxy blooms last well over 6 months. The keiki roots are a bit dry, they didn't appreciate the dry winter air.

The name is just a trade name unfortunately, the real RHS registered Phal Pink Panther looks nothing like it. I love her anyways!

Thanks!

As for the name, a lot of people on internet blindly assume that the registered Pink Panther is this one. But when you see the species composing the registered one (which is a very complex hybrid), it's mostly schilleriana, amabilis, sanderiana, rimestadiana, aphrodite and stuartiana. NONE of those have the thick waxy texture of the blooms on my Pink Panther, and none could have contributed to the barring. So for me it's just impossible that both Pink Panther are one and the same.
