NOID mini spiking again!
Default NOID mini spiking again!

I snatched this one up from TJ in October last year.
It finished flowering a couple of weeks ago, and has been working on one new leaf recently, which was nice to see. I like to see things grow.

Then today, I thought I would check the underside of the leaves just for fun as I have never done it with this plant, and lo and behold~ there was a small spike coming out from the bast of the third leaf from top!

What a surprise!!! I didn't expect that but I will take it.

sorry about the blurry picture.

I'm really getting into this deep rose purple sort of color. I already got four or five of th same color!

The two lower spikes are old and gone, the small green one under the leaf (third leaf from the top counting the small new leaf) is the new one that I recently spotted.

I killed mini phals quite a few times.
The one in the back in the last two pictures nearly died. dropping all the flowers and most of its leaves.
I put it in an intensive care unit and now it is growing one new leaf and two of its old bare spikes are making more buds. Yay!!! I have a different thread on that plant.

The funny thing is the pretty ones I want to keep tend to be sensitive and die on me, while not so pretty ones that I acccidently purchased do not die easily.
