By looking at the plant leaves and the flower shape, yours is one of those "nonstop" bloomer. The thing is old spikes get too long over time and I end up cutting them off. They make newer spikes anyways while blooming off old spikes at the same time.

By the way, I love yellow phals. well, I like yellow flowers in general.
but yellow color was something people thought would never come true back in the day.
Look what we have now!
