Default Golden Potential in bloom

Hey Phal friends~

Just wanted to share this photo of my Phalaenopsis Brother Golden Potential on this forum in a little more detail.

I'm a windowsill grower in Michigan, and have had this phal for over 4 years. It re-bloomed last year, and this year awarded me with a new spike along with the re-bloom spike. I'm extremely happy with it's bright colors as well.

Also, for the first time in a while, I decided to pot it in a 6" pot, that is 7 or 8" deep -- black plastic. I prefer to under-pot my phals (3 or 4" pots), since I can tend to have a heavy watering hand, and get laxy on my repotting schedule. Half of my other 16 phals are in double pots (potted in plastic pots, and setting in ceramic to hold in humidity).

Thanks for looking, and happy to have found this forum!

Very pretty! I have a couple phals that rebloom from old spikes. It just makes it that much nicer. Good growing.

Thanks so much, everyone!

Ordphien, this phal doesn't currently have a fragrance, although I was certain that it did. Maybe I'll try putting it in some warm sunshine in a window, which I find brings the scent out on the fragrant phals, and dendrobiums, too. (just as long as the poor thing doesn't get sunburn! I won't let that happen, promise. )
