As you are having such good luck with the mounted one, why not mount the small one. If it has one good root, that is really all it needs. Since the large one is succeeding so well, I think I would try this with the kieki also. It could induce more root growth, or not, but I woudl try it before I pitch it!
Another By-the-Way! Is that a Gatorade Pot! I love it - I used to pot up in 1 liter and the smaller 12 oz cola bottles. Love to recycle.
