Default Phal. Graz/Phal. Patricia Lillian?

This is my little Phal. Graz (unregistered name) which I think might actually be a Patricia Lillian, but which the nursery has renamed to protect the parentage. It's another of my autumn premiere bloomers.

I'm not certain, but of what I've seen, they look exactly the same and have the same blooming and growth pattern (unless I'm mixing it up with something else).

Whatever it is, I love it. It looks like an overgrown Phal equestris rosea or something.

Very pretty color! Yeah, the blooms remind me of Phal equestris.

Thanks! It actually had more colour than I excepted it to and it's going to be great when my equestris rosea opens its buds, because I'll take some pictures of them together just so you can see the similarities and differences between them.

I think the easiest way to tell that this is not a pure equestris is IRL. It's way to big to be one, and its form is somewhat wrong.

Man, do I love the fact that I changed the resolution settings on my camera! Much sharper pictures.

Just a picture of one of the flowers taken in direct sunlight. The colour is too saturated, but I like the glittering surface of the bloom:

The glitter is evident on the blooms. Very good close up!

Thanks! It's amazing what you can do when you discover the resolution options on your camera.

Here's my equestris rosea and the Graz side by side. You can see the size difference between these two.
