My first online purchase.. and my first Phals....

1. Phal Octopus

2. Phal Mira Flore

3. Phal My Way

4. Phal Red Ruby

What do you think? They were shipped quite a distance across Oz. The grower packed them really well. Do you think they are in good shape and quality by the looks.

I was very happy to see clear pots... now I have to keep them alive...and I am not sure about the light in the room I have them.

The seller must have remarkably consistent growing conditions, numbers 2 and 3 have come out like twins! *EG*

Have you repotted them? Not sure, but I think I'd want to check the roots and make sure those pots aren't too big for them.

Hi oops look like I have posted the same pic twice

I am really new to this. Do you think the pots are too big. This is how they arrived. The bark is also quite damp.

If I repot what do I use ? I will try some close up pics of the pots at lease they are clear.

I agree with the others: these are healthy plants, by the looks of it (and the little fellow in the back ground is very cute!), but even so: check the roots, and repot in your own medium. It is not uncommon for snails, slugs, millipedes and the like to hitch a ride, and create major problems down the road. That's not a reflexion on the vendor: this can happen in any collection. You just don't want it happening in yours. Please post pictures of the blooms.
