Thanks guys! I'm so very happy with my little premiere bloomer, that I'll probably self it by mistake, considering how much I run around with it when I move it to and from my photo area all the time!

It's really eye catching without even trying. I walk out into my kitchen and "Hello! Colour!" Very nice to see every day I must say.

It sure does! Love violacea and its hybrids, they really smell wonderful.

Thanks! I've just realized that I had somehow managed to change the resolution om my camera, so there was no wonder I had a recollection of the pictures being larger a couple of years ago...

Some of my phals (well, actually everything pretty much) are spikeing with buds, some adding more buds at the tip of the existing spikes.
I love seeing them grow bigger and bigger day by day. shiny little things that I want to squeeze!
then when they open, it's just so magical!
the wait is all worth then.

Thanks for sharing the photos!

Yesterday the sun decided to at least hide behind some thin clouds instead of the massive gray wall that has covered the sky all week long, so I could finally snap some more photos of it. The colour is nearly impossible to capture, but it's a bit less red than it was when it was newly opened, otherwise, it's still as intensive/saturated as before.

I had to take pictures from the side and from behind as well, just to show you my darling (too bad fragrance doesn't travel via the web though, you're missing half the experience).

I'm so unused to see such a flat looking Phal since my collection mostly consists of equestris and equestris hybrids. The lip is still extremely disgusting though... :P

This guy really needs direct sunlight if the colour is going to look anything like it does IRL though...
