Default Phal. Wiganiae has PLANS

Bought this guy in February this year and it had two spikes with three branches all in all. I forgot to count the amount of flowers it had, it would've been interesting to compare the previous blooming to the one it plans on having now.

Here's its single spike, but with six branches (unfortunately one of them blasted at the tip so it'll only get two flowers) and about 30 buds. The first flower has started to open now, and I'll update this thread as more buds open. I think it will be gorgeous when all flowers are open.

The spike is nearly 70 cm (27"-28") long, and that's definitely a record for any Phal at my place.

First flower has opened!

The entire plant with its loong spike and ugly stake (it was the only I had that was long enough):

Thanks! It's one of my favourite primaries I think. It really has got the best from both parents (according to me) with a beautiful foliage and very cute flowers.

Thanks guys! It's a very pretty primary hybrid I think, and it grows like a weed! And thanks to this long spike, it's now very top heavy, so I'm glad I'm keeping it in a steady glass outer pot (it's potted in a clear plastic one though).

It should be easy to get a hold of, it seems to be very common as primary hybrid goes. I think almost all the European (or at least the German ones) have it. It's definitely worth every nickel.

It has opened five of its flowers now, and four more buds to go.

It's going to be a wonderful sight when it has opened them all.

I take full credit for this spike since I've had my Wiganiae for about eight months now.
