Dtps. Sin Yaun Golden Beauty
This is my favorite yellow phal.
The picture doesn't really show how bright canary yellow the flowers are.
So cute

I love this one. Really pretty yellow on yours, mine is slightly more orange I think.

There are two main clones under this same grex.
Yours is Fairy Tales.
I love Fairy Tales and have bought a few time, but for some reasons, their buds blast and the flowers drop within about ten days of purchase.
So I gave up on them.
This clone has also dropped all the buds on the little side branch, but so far everyone on the main spike is hanging there.
By the way, I just happened to visit your thread on this phal. yep, yours is Fairy Tales.
The color can be unstable due to genetics or environmental factors I think.

How do you grow yours?
Most commonly sold hybrid phals bloom again almost automatically unless you do something seriously wrong with them.

This clone has a very short flower life. I bought one before and had the same short flower life.
All the flowers dropped within a month or so.
I usually do not cut any spent spikes unless they turn brown on their own or they are extremely big and block my way around the apartment. lol
good thing I left it as it is because now I see one of the nodes spiking. not sure how many blooms this will bring, but at least frequent bloom compensates for a short life.

my one had 2 spikes this past year. I cut them to the obligatory above-2nd-node. Nothing. No new spikes either.....yet.
What I can say about this hybrid is that it is a vigorous grower - has lots of new roots and leaves.
