Finally blooms!! Seems like this baby took forever and its not what I expected. I'm hoping this is just a fluke but I had this just as the buds were beginning to form, so I'm thinking not. Maybe cultural, hard to say since it has never bloomed before in my care so I have nothing to compare it to except the pic from Norman's site. Will have to wait for the next bloom coming along. Semi-peloric!!

I think that may be a random culture fluke to the bud while it was growing. I had the same thing happen to my I-Hsin George.

what a great large plant! congrats on getting it! the flowers are awesome! although i do hope the perloric habit is just a fluke
