No Direct Sun for Phals? Male
Default

Too much Sun and the leaves normally gets 'bleached'.

Sunlight is ok but it's the hot temperature that burns the leaves.

Therefore one must strike a balance, like what that has already been said, no strong sunlight to avoid bleaching and burns.

Morning and evening should be ideal depending where you are from and the season.

Good luck !

No Direct Sun for Phals? Male
Default No Direct Sun for Phals?

Thanks for all the advice, it was just what I needed. Fortunately, my lanai is pretty good sized, south facing, and deep enough that I should be able to find a place for that table all year around where I can continue getting direct morning sun up til 11 AM and then get strong shaded light for the rest of the day. Again, thanks for helping, I'm learning more every day.
