I have a Phal. equestris with one flower like that too. It just opened last week. It looks really weird.

This is beautiful! I like these 'clean' Phals species. Tindo, I'm looking for this plant to add to my collection and I'd like to ask you if a mount is the best way to grow it, considering that it can loose its leaves in low humidity environment. Have you ever grown it in pots?

Hi Mauro,
I have never grown this in pots. I just place it in my humid/well aerated vivariums and they do fine. Sue who lives in Florida keeps this species mounted in the open.

Well the Phal has decided to abort the lipless flower. The flower is beginning to fade. Oh well, I still have 5 others!!
