After being here for about two months now, this plant has decided to have some activity.

I noticed one of the spikes is adding two buds at its tip.
Yay!

It is planted in tight moss and I'm being very careful with watering.
very tempted to just take the moss out and loosen up, but I might upset the plant and lose the buds.
hmmmmm quite stuck...

I agree that there are a lot of similar looking hybrids to this. . . but I think it would be possible to dig up something similar so you can buy one with an ID.

Suddenly all the flowers but one withered. One of the growing buds is also yellowing.
I really like this plant so I took the plant out of its pot and removed all the tightly packed moss.
Roots were in very nice shape to my surprise.
I potted it up with some bark, charcoal and perlite.
This change might upset the plant a little, but for the long run, it is better for the roots and all.
