Registered in the RHS gardening / International orchid registry we have two choices:
Dtps. Queen Beer - which has small purple flower and seems very productive.
Phal. Ld's Bear Queen - which has flowers resembling bellina with yellow and bright pink or light purple colors.
I have found no 'Queen bear' no where. Sorry!

I have one with hard, purply leaves.....and its a Queen Beer. The spikes seem to have a will of their own, growing behind the leaves, under the leaves......its really a pain to get them clipped.
Neony, purply flowers are stunning when there are lots all at once. Odd name for an orchid !

I think you most likely have a Doritaenopsis Queen Beer which someone has mis-copied the tag for at some point.

I've seen it before where a grower was selling a Phal hybrid with one letter wrong in the name. Knowing the hybrid I questioned them on it and they said that was the name from their supplier. However I know that on RHS site it was a different spelling. Basically someone has mis-copied it at some point and it's spread from there

my tag says Queen Bee - I struggled to find that one ! It was only after it flowered and I saw it at a nursery, and through online confirmation, that I found it's a Queen Beer.

The queen beer that I saw at an orchid show had quite large flowers.

Ho! it is more than possible!
I went threw a very quick research on Google!
The plant in general looked quite small and the flowers seem proportionate... I should have researched a bit more!
Thank you for correcting me!

Nope- you were right the first time. My plant is pretty big, but the flowers ARE relatively small. I am looking at them now. I would say 1 1/2 in max..

Look under Phalaenopsis LD's Bear Queen which is (Dragon Tree Eagle x bellina) Lots of pics of those on the Big Leaf Forums. Looks kinda like a bellina but yellow where the white should be.
