Phal. Pink Dancer

Hi again everyone,
I've got so much in bloom and coming up to bloom, they'll be a few more posts from me over the next couple of weeks!

Here's a rebloom of a Phal I got for my birthday last March. The largest flower measures in at 4.5", and is probably the biggest Phal flower I have in my collection. You can't see too well in the pictures, but it has three branches and a few buds still to open. Unfortunately, three buds have blasted, but that was all my fault for not treating it properly while they were developing (...in my defence, I was, shall we say, rather ill at the time!)

Thanks you two Yes, I am feeling better Bob - it was just too much of working 10/11hrs a day, 7days a week to finish all the end of term assignment/ exam marking (and getting a cold half way through!). Thankfully, that's all done for another year! However, when you've got lots of pretty flowers around, it helps you feel so much better

This is just gorgeous, Jenny....I love the inner lip shapes and textures .... the petals gives dotted splash of vibrant color...

You're right Bud, I love the lip and the colour on the inside is my favourite feature - it's such a nice progression through dark pink/ pink/ orange/ yellow etc, I can't stop looking at it! I wanted to get a really good close up of it, but the light didn't do it justice. If I do get one I'm happy with, I'll post it
