Phal Purple Martin 'KS'
This is from one of Big Leaf Orchid's recent Taiwan imports. First bloom, and very easy grower. 75% violacea, I believe.
There is sap/nectar all over the stem, buds, and underside of newest leaf. Don't know what this means, but I think that it is good! I really like the "orchid blue" color and the indigo lip. I hear that the flower color does fade over time, though.

Purple Martin is a really nice phal.. It's a sequential bloomer that usually stays in bloom all summer and into the fall. Your's is very pretty.

Mine's teasing me. I aquired it with a small spike a while back. First bud has been looking like it's about to open for days (just a tiny parting in the sepals...). I've only got one developed bud yet though, so maybe it's got further to go than I think? The bud I've got looks like your largest unopened one I think.
