Everything looks just great! Very nice purchases from CS. Last time I was considering Purple Martin, but left it for "later", now I guess you have it.
And my equestris orange looks quite different too - leaves are narrower and pointier.

Well worth all the work you put into that closet. Your plants look very healthy. I just acquired a Dtps. Kenneth Shubert from Ten Shin yesterday and a P. (Jungo Viotris x violacea) 'Violet' from Ching Hua. Ecuagenera didn't make it to the Calgary show, and Forest View Orchids is out of the paph. helenae. I felt I had to justify taking an unpaid leave to go, and spending more money seemed the right way to do that. If mine is going to be anything like yours, is certainly was the right decision.
BTW: was that your graduation you went to? In that case: congrats.!

Well, its good to know that you got something out of your trip! I will start by saying that I go to an extremely small private school, and it wasn't I, but three of my best friends that graduated. I have another two years. And next year the Senior class (grades 8-12) will consist of 7 students!

I just bought a I-Hsin George and a Princess from Crystal Star and they came through beautifully. The I-Hsin George is huge and has air roots all over the place. It looks like it needs to be in a larger pot. I am wondering whether to transplant now or wait for a month since the move from a green house to sunny Calgary area is already a shock. I transplanted all my newly bought Phals from the Calgary show immediately and the ones under a plastic dome look fine but my Bellina flowered for just a few days. The plant looks fine but the flower didn't like being out in the dry or something. Any suggestions?

If they are going to get more sun, I would say slowly transition them to it by using small amouts of shadecloth. For the transplaneted ones, I would say just make sure you keep the humidity up.

Certainly not what you would call "run of the mill" Phals. and they are all beauties.

Definitely not! I actually have a slight aversion to those run of the mill Phals.
