Phal NoID, but received with love
Hey there OB,
Personally, I cannot imagine my life without plants. All my life I have grown plants indoors and out (even when I was very ill in my teens, I swapped the 'demanding' plants I had for more hardy types that could take a bit of neglect!).
With plants, generally, come flowers. When I started dating my boyfriend of four years, he called me Jennyfleur instead of 'Jennifer' to mark the quirk in my life (and he still calls me it now ). The reason I tell you this is that, up until now, he has only bought me cut flowers to brighten my day and give me something to brighten my desk. All this changed two days ago when he came clutching a lovely Noid Phal and saying words to the effect of 'not that you need another one, but it was so pretty, I thought of you and had to buy it'. Now's the time all of you should be thinking 'Aaarrr', as it was definitely an 'aar' moment! So, here I am introducing the lastest chid in the Jennyfleur family (though, we haven't agreed on a name yet )

What a nice looking Phal! It's definitely a keeper, and so is the boyfriend! That was so sweet of him to get you one, even though your house must be full of them already!

tee hee, I think that's why it's taken 4 years as he has in the past said that he'd thought about buying me one but didn't know what to get and, anyway, thought I had enough already This little one does have pride of place at the mo, so we're both happy!

... just realised how that last bit read - I meant me and my boyfriend are happy with its placement, not me and the orchid (which, considering where I'm posting, was probably the first interpretation! )

I love pink flowers. Orchids live forever so when you both are ninety you can remember your youth when he bought it for you...
