Those are some beautiful phals.. That's an unusual pot but the plant seems to like it. Good growing.

I've stopped using plastic containers for my sh plants. I instead use glass now and drill a hole for drainage using a diamond bit. Glass bowls allow me to hang plants, thus keeping valuable plant real estate on the plant racks.

It does look prettier than plastic. I have some of mine ins/h in lava rock in plastic, but I sometimes hide the ugly algae container in a cache pot or basket while on display
