Phalaenopsis Leopard Prince
This is the classic variation according to the seller I got it from 4 years ago and true enough because I saw other bloom pictures in the net with tie dyed spots and darker maroon lips...I even saw a dark red with no spots yet it was labelled and tagged...
I also dont know if this is a Phal. or a Dtps.
But I will abide with my tag : Phalaenopsis Leopard Prince
...on its third bloom in my care...this is the only flowering that came out good. The first two instances got blasted or got eaten by mites...the very first spike of this plant I broke it and it sulked on me for a year...I am just glad I am able to take pictures of its beautiful blooms...

Beautiful!! Very nice spots. At least it didn't sulk too long, I have one that pouted for over 3 years before spiking again.

Thank You, Camille ! I really gave this plant my undivided attention and by looking at the healthy roots and leaves...I vanquished the bug infestations...so it finally forgave me and rewarded me with beautiful blooms.
*three years...thats a long time...I would of threatened to expose it directly to the sun LOL

Whatever bugs you had, the plant sure looks healthy now. I was about to toss mine, and had been neglecting it for months (watering every 3-4 weeks) because it annoyed me with its lack of blooms. Then in January I started watering again when I noticed some new roots, and 2 month later the spike started. Maybe this one needs extreme neglect in order to bloom?

right...sometimes leaving them alone to themselves gives them time to recover.

I have one with exact same flower pattern, except yours look nice and flat while mine has floppy petals and sepals as if it's dehydrated. (but it's not!)
Regarding the name, it's technically dtps, but in trade, they use phal and dtps interchangeably.

Very nice I have one just like that, and for some reason it treated very good. I managed to have gotten several spikes.
Continue to take care of it, it's a beautiful one.
