You have a magnificent specimen. All those flowers are just amazing.I love the color and form.
You may repot it on the same pot you have with fresh media but please invest on a wire anchor...that piece of brick on top of the roots is just too hilarious to watch.

Help for Mother Plant- repot or leave her be? Female
Default

“orchidsarefun” asked about the keikis. She didn’t have any kiekies until about 6 years ago. The first I still have and is doing well and just flowered a second time, but has a way to go to catch up with Mum. The second 2 went to friends and these didn’t survive. The fourth is with a friend who has a very similar window- really the only reason I gave her one! – and is blooming for the first time. The fifth is in a pot on the shelf below Mum, just a baby with 4 small leaves. I have several other types of Phals, but none are this vigorous. I attribute the Mother Plant’s success to a great location and complete dumb luck on my part. This plant is however a true member of the family. So it sounds like giving her some new medium will be a good idea if I can catcher her between bloom-fests. Thanks for all the great advise.
