Phal Mini Mark
Over the last couple of years, my Mini Mark has easily doubled in size and has gone root mad. I had a lovely multi-branched spike from it last year, but, this year it's given me its first double spike Not all the buds are open but, since I had the camera out, I thought I'd take a few snaps. Hope you all like, I certainly do!

WOW! Congratulations!!!!!!! I know how it feels to have a plant for years who suddenly decides to reward you with double spikes! WELL DONE!!!!
I love your 3rd and 4th photos! Keep on shooting away as that would be a lovely orchid on the calendar! ohhh.. & don't forget only Horizontal photos accepted.. unless Marty decides to change and have a vertical calendar this year.

Very nice and congrats on the double spike. In our society I hear several growers talk that they cannot grow this plant, never mind flower it.
Rarely have I seen them grown well......hmmm.
Your looks lovely.
Next step....multiple branching spikes! They do that.

This is easily one of my favorite orchids. Yours is excellent Jenny! Mine is blooming now too. Does yours have any scent?

Thanks Nenella, I haven't bothered with the calendar contests in the past as everyone seems to have much better snaps than me Maybe I just need more encouragement!
Oscarman/ DaveW - Ooo, I like challenges I have heard before that people have had trouble with these guys. I think I've been lucky and found the right spot for it in the house (the first place I had it, it still flowered, but I think was too bright as the leaves got too light at one point). Having said that, I don't do anything with it that my other phals don't get
Hey Terri I havn't noticed a scent. Mind you, I haven't ever looked/ sniffed for one! (though, this is the wrong time of year for me and scents - hayfever has started and I find it difficult to smell anything!)

I'm going to shows those pics to my 2 rather diminutive Mini Marks so they will know what is expected of them in the future (if they don't want to become compost).
