Phal Liu's Rainbow

This little one is rapidly becoming one of my favourites. It's leaf span is just a tad smaller than the distance from the heel of my hand to the tip of my middle finger (and I don't have very big hands) and it just doesn't know when to stop flowering! When I bought it spring/summer last year, it had a new spike growing (and I posted a pic when the first flower opened). Since then, that spike has flowered and it's re-flowered twice off the same spike since. I haven't got any photos from the second flowering (as it was over winter and I couldn't get a good picture indoors), so here are some pics of the little cluster at the third flowering. Now, the old spike has two more branches with buds developing, so I'll have those soon as well

It's adorable! I love the yellow and pink blend on the lip and the tiny dots.

I got it at:
Schwerter Orchideenzucht - Das Orchideen Zentrum Westfalens

They have Liu's Berry at the momemt, but not Rainbow anymore.

Oh, dang! I've already ordered Liu's Berry but I would really like a little Rainbow too. I'll have to wait until they might get it in stock again.

What a wonderful phal! I really love the colors! It really is nice to find one that is constantly in bloom. : )
