My newly purchased Princess Kaiulani with opened bloom
There is also old wilted bloom on the side, I didn't touch it so to not disturb plant. Sorry if it doesn't look good.
Flower smells incredible.
Now, here is how moss looks. I think it needs re-potting. Should I repot now or wait for flowering to end?
Thank you for looking

Beautiful flower!
I agree, that moss looks pretty old. I would repot it, particularly if you just acquired it. Phals are pretty tough, so I wouldn't worry about waiting until after it's done blooming. You can repot it with fresh moss, loosely packed, or you can use whatever medium you're comfortable with. Many people don't like growing Phals in moss, but I've had success with it. It all depends on your growing conditions and watering habits.

It's beautiful. I always re-pot my Phals the minute they come in the door. But I'm not sure how these smaller Bellina type are affected in mid bloom. Mine are mostly the regular NOID's!

Looks like the Chin Yo Clone to me. The smell must be fantastic! Such a great flower. I think the moss looks pretty normal, and I would wait until you see some new root growth before repotting. Just my opinion though.

Thank you guys!
I think I will repot because I still don't trust myself with the sphag in the plastic pots. Feel a bit more comfortable with sphag in clay.
I was actually looking for this particular coloration - not the 'Carriage Hill' type one and was very happy to find it in bloom so I could actually see what I am getting
The fragrance is very pleasant.
