I really like the flowers on this cross, and great info on its origin. Thanks you. Love to have one (or 3) myself.
Is everyone growing these in pots or some mounted?

OMG!!!!! I LOVE THESE!!! Great cross, GoodGolly! I think it is worth remaking using a gigantea with a yellow background, and maybe a tetraspis 'C#1'. I have the former, so now I just need to find some gigantea pollen!!!!

All 12 are in pots for now and doing well. nearly all our Phal species are on mounts and I believe they grow much better that way. These might make it to mounts as we gradually sort out the best. Gigantea does best mounted so I expect these will also.

I'm not sure which pics you are talking about. The original post and pics belong to orchidsworld. He will probably see the question and respond.

In my case, click on the picture to go to my Flickr page. To the upper right of the pic you will see taken with a Nikon D-7000. The "D-7000" is a hot link even though it doesn't appear to be. Click on the D-7000 to see all the Exif data you ever wanted. It ID's everything about the picture.

What an absolutely stunning flower. I love the story behind it's naming as well.

I suppose I will just have to dream about having one of these.

I'm using a Canon 500D with a macro lense

And yes, this plant comes from another cross made in France
