Default My Phal collection

I decided to do a little lineup/squeeze up of my Phals just to show them all to you guys.

The first picture is of my "oldies". These are the ones I had before the horrible orchid fever got to me, and some of them have been with me as long as seven years and some approximately one to two years.

The second picture is of my newest editions to the hybrids with Phal. wiganiae and Dtps. Queen Beer 'Tiny Doll' as the only ID:d ones.

The third picture is of my species Phals which at the moment consist of one schilleriana and seven equestris (three ordinary ones, rosea, 'Orange', 'Blue Lip', and 'Apari' orange (?)).

The fourth photo is of my rescuing projects with two NoID:s and a Phal 'Singolo' which is a bit like a marketing hoax. Two of these will move to my sister's this weekend.

Enjoy the greenery!

They all look beautiful and very healthy. You definately have a green thumb when it comes to phals.. Good growing.

Thanks Tucker. Whether I have a green thumb or not only time will tell. I can't take credit for any of the blooms in my pictures except on my "oldies" since I've had them for a while. All the other Phals were bought blooming/spiking and I can only take pride in the one that has decided to continue growing its spikes (and of course, for not killing the rest yet ).

Yup.
It's still at Schwerter. They won't ship until the temperatures stays at minimum 5C and since we are not quite there in Sweden yet, I'll have to wait... And add more Phals to it in the meantime.

You honestly don't think I would've gotten my order and not told you guys about it? I, who has to report as soon as one of my Phals farts (none of them have managed to do that yet)? Trust me, you'll know when my order has arrived.

What Tucker said! Besides the pretty orchids, I see a little red ball - but no Pelle and/or Prilla. Maybe next time.

Haha! I know! I noticed the ball when I was processing the pictures on the computer. It's Pelle's "food bowl". He has a very sensitive stomach meaning if he eats out of a normal bowl, he eats too much too fast and then I have to wipe kitty puke off of the floor. With this ball I can control approximately how much food he'll get, and, also, it's a good way to activate him.

They were good cats for once and didn't try to walk among the Phals while I was taking the pictures.

I decided to add some close-ups in my previous post on those of my Phals that are currently in bloom.
