That's so cool! I think I would be a semi-stalker if I lived that close just for a chance to pick their brains and see what they could teach me.
Glad to hear that Baldan's is hardy, it's my second 'chid so it's as much of a guinea pig for me as my Noid phal is when it comes to care. The one I got is actually in sphag so I'm going to keep it potted as is to see whether I prefer that or the bark mixture.
