Ahh. They usually have an ok at helping employee working there. Mike, not sure of his last name, is the purveyor or PSO, and he is really great to chat with. He's bound to have tons of stuff in bloom, as I was there recently there, and that was soon to be the case. What are you interested in though, as I can help point you to where they are in the greenhouses.

I've been primarily interested in orchids that can be grown indoors with bright indirect natural light. I find that I'm mostly attracted to phals, some of the cattleyas, and a few of the dendrobium. Other than the light requirement I'm not really picky on the appearance or the species I'm just drawn more to some than others.

Well go through PSO, and just pick a bunch you like. With a little tweaking, you can probably grow and bloom everything you're interested in. Just ask some questions of Mike while you're there, and us when you get back, and go from there. Guard your wallet though, he's got some really good stuff!

Phal Yin's Green Jewel 'L'
Almost all the flowers are now open. A couple of the spikes appear to have stalled a bit, but oh well. Scent gets better with every bloom that opens.

Nice plant! The stalled spikes may begin once again when it warms up a bit more.
How would you describe the scent on this one?
