Beautiful! I love the striped Phals, though. Hope it gives you a wonderful display!

But man... Look at the colours. Let's see if it'll keep it!
Have you changed photograph software or equipment? If not, it may have a deeper shade than previous blooms based on your earlier photo. Fingers crossed for you!

Thanks! Nope, it's the same old camera I'm using. Trust me, the colours on this guy is nothing like they were before! They're are much deeper and it has changed form somewhat too... I'll wait for it to straighten out a bit before I deem the form truly changed or not.

The reason for the colour change is probably due to my taking better care of it than ever before. My P. Little Emperor copy has done the very same thing and got a much deeper yellow than ever before.

Took some new pictures today since it has opened up completely and even too much. The weird shape is due to the upper sepal deciding it's fun the bend backwards and so it did... I hope it'll correct itself in a couple of days or so.

Thank you! I like that it's so red as compared to its previous blooming and I think my favourite part is the weirdly spoon-shaped lip.

And I'm still fascinated that the shape looks so different, it's like a whole new Phal.
