Talking Yellow Phal NoID

Yup, it's me again. You think you might get rid of me eh, OB? Noooo, think again 'cause I'm here to stay (and apparently have conversations with the forum instead of its members...)!

Oh, well. My little yellow buddy opened its second flower today (it started to open yesterday, but that doesn't count) and I think that's all from this fellow for some months now. It has never had as few flowers before, but that's what happens if you mistreat even Phals for too long. They might be sturdy, but they don't put up with just anything.

I'm so happy it's blooming again though since it has been a while since and its yellow flowers really light up the entire windowsill!

It has a second spike lurking at its base, but it'll take some time before there will be any flowers on it.

Nice and cheerful flowers! The dark purple phal in your gallery is just stunning. Sad it doesn't have a name, I'd put it on my wish list.

The dark purple looks a lot like Dtps. I-Hsin Black Jack so you could put that one on your wishlist.

It is similar, true, but solid brown lip on yours makes it look more dramatic and I like it much better .

It's strange that I haven't found anyone else with a lip as dark as mine has... I agree with you, I also like mine better. I should make a thread for it here as well since it is one of my absolute favourites (and since it is blooming).

I'll do that tomorrow since it's supposed to be sunny and thus easier to take pictures of my "evil" Phal (it is dark after all and as we all know, dark = evil ).

That's a good idea! I'd like to see more pics of that one.

Just had to up some more pics I took today and one I took during its previous flowering. The colour has improved quite a bit, eh?

First the older picture and then the newer ones. I took the pictures with the flowers placed in direct sunlight since that's what I did during the previous blooming.

I must say that being in direct sunlight really do the colour justice.

Forgot to add a pic of the new spike!
