I bought a lot of these little guys last summer at a farmer's market. They are sold for $12 here in NYC. much higher at flower shops though.

I like them bright color and mine had light but sweet scent during the earlier part of the day. The problem I had with these were that the flowers lasted for very short time, which I thought was odd for phalaenopsis. That's why I bought so many. I would buy another one each time the older one drops all the flowers.

Did you get a replacement? It is too bad because your bloom is much better than mine. I have found in my research that this little guy has a lot of different markings.

Mine is not worthy for showing but your bloom was quite nice. I checked the AOS website for awards and the ones awarded are really different.

I hope you get another because that bloom was fantastic.

No replacement yet sadly. The only thing that isn't yellow now is the two leaf basal keiki.

Well, if anybody sees this in a store, I will pay for it as long as its a decent price. I know that there is one store that has it online but Im not about to put down $30 for it.

Only one leaf on the mother plant out of 6 left and now both keiki leaves are turning yellow.

So sad as its beautiful and Im sure the next blooming would of been outrageous. I love the multibranching inflorescence and the art shade flowers.
