Thanks everyone!
I've been in love with this type of breeding since Carmela's had the 'Big Foot' hybrid and am so glad that new breeding is being done with it.
Camille, the second is my favorite also, love the spots!
Rangiku, yes I got both of these from Carri. The first one posted was puchased in bloom back in October at the CT Orchid Society Show and just keeps adding new blooms. The second was acquired in February at the New Hampshire show. I can only hope that it performs as well as the first!!
I also have two others from her , but their not in bloom at the moment .
Call_me_bob, I'll guess that it was Carri that had them at the National Capital show. She's really the only one I've seen selling these besides some NOIDs that I've seen at the big box stores.

Bud, Carmela's no longer carries this type of breeding. Their World Class 'Big Foot' was available back in the 90's. I've only seen these offered by Carri Raven-Riemen of the orchidPhile at shows. Sadly she does not have a website to buy from and only sells at shows.

Thanks Rosie!
Call_me_Bob, at shows its very hard to find a time when Carri ISN'T busy. But if you do manage to get to chat with her, she is a wealth of knowledge besides being very nice!
One thing I've found with her plants is you can get some one-of-a-kind seedlings, which both of my plants shown are. So I get to give them cultivar names which I think is pretty cool.
When I saw her in New Hampshire she said that sometime around March or so (?) she was going to have some new plants. Not sure, but I know from previous talks with her that she's gone to Tying Shin Orchids and carries some of his hybrids and raises plants from flask. So you may be able to get something really unique!
Get to her tables early before all the really good stuff goes!

not Bob, email Carri for her preorder list. If you see something you must have, you're covered.

if i dont look at the list, i wont be disappointing to not be seeing something. and then when i do see something i like, i can buy it with the "impusle buy" budget not sure if my twisted teenager logic makes sense to you guys, but i get it.... kind of
